Casey is a seven year old yellow boy, in rescue with "The Buddy Project". He was originally going to be an assistance dog for some children with autism, but when it was discovered that he had seizures and needed surgery his family simply could not handle the costs and turned him over to the good folks at "The Buddy Project" who in turn approached Labrador Life Line for some assistance with the costs for his much needed treatment.
Casey is one of the lucky dogs actually... after he had his surgery the local lab rescue group sent along a contact looking for another dog to "The Buddy Project". It turned out that Casey's future forever home had recently lost their beloved black lab Cleo, and the home was just too empty without Cleo. Casey has fit into his new home as if he's always lived there.
Thank you from the board of Labrador Life Line, from the folks at "The Buddy Project" and from Casey's new family - the true recipient of your generosity is dogs like Casey.
