When Walker's guardian angel found him outside a convenience store he was extremely emaciated, scratched up from an apparent fight and sorely neglected; however, his wagging tail showed he hadn’t been defeated by his maltreatment. Walker’s good Samaritan immediately fell in love with the sweet yellow boy and decided to give him a new home where he’d be loved. However, Walker had one other hurdle to cross before he would be able to start his new life: in addition to his other problems, Walker was heartworm positive. Happily, because of your donations, Labrador Life Line was able to assist with funding for Walker’s heartworm treatments and he is now living the life of Riley in his forever home!

Barbara, I would like to once again thank you, as well as Labrador Life Line, for your help in caring for Walker. After being treated for heartworms, he is doing GREAT! He has already gained close to 20 pounds, has tons of energy, and has become quite a companion to myself and my chocolate Lab, Sadie.
