Roxie had recently been adopted, and one morning her owners woke up and she was limping. Vet diagnosis determined she had a Salter Harris Fracture of the distal right femoral epiphysis. The cause of the fracture was unknown. Roxie required urgent surgery to correct the break so she would grow up without any lasting consequences of the fracture.
