Sadly, many dogs get hit by cars every year. Such was the case with Buddy. When his Mom contacted Labrador Life Line for help, he was in guarded condition and had a chest tube in, but his chest was continuing to fill with fluid. The vet was hoping to stabilize him overnight so he could go home the following day.

Other injuries included: pulmonary contusions, pneumothorax, and a broken pelvis.
Additionally, Buddy needed continued transfusions, chest tube management, and nutritional support. Eventually when he’d get stronger, Buddy will also need pelvic (acetabular) surgery to fix his broken pelvis.

Buddy's Mom was struggling financially.

Because of you, Labrador Life Line's generous donors, we helped Buddy to get the surgery he needed. Thank you for your continued support.
