Did you know…dogs can learn the difference between smiles from blank expressions in photographs of people? A March 2011 special
to World Science reported dogs can learn to recognize smiles. According to the study, five trained dogs, all Labrador Retrievers, or poodles, were, “significantly more often than expected by chance, to discriminate their owners’ smiling faces from their blank faces.”
What our four-legged friends? Do you think our dogs smile back at us? Tell us what you think!
Until the next time,
