A 2009-2010 American Pet Products Manufacturers Association survey reported 39% of American households have at least one dog. However, did you know…that in ancient times dogs were worshiped as religious figures? Our ancient predecessors felt dogs were much more than man’s best friend. That those dogs could, among other things, lead the dead to the afterlife. Nowadays, most pet owners believe that when their four-legged best friend passes on before them, they cross over Rainbow Bridge. After the dog crosses over, her health is restored and she plays until she is reunited with her loving owner. Once reunited, they spend the afterlife together, never again separated.
